1. In ESC, use Company | Close Fiscal Year to create 2023 accounting periods.

2. In ESC, use Company | Select Open Accounting Period to re-open December.

• You can enter into both years at the same time!

3. After making additional prior year entries be sure to Company | Close Fiscal Year, again.

• This will update January beginning balances.
• It is completely normal to close the fiscal year many times
