An error occurred during CalculateRoute

Description of Error:

When attempting to use the optimize routes or calculate route functions in ESC with Microsoft Mapping enabled, a user may receive the following error:

An Error Occurred During CalculateRoute: Exception From HRESULT: 0xxxxxxxxx

Cause of Error:

This error can be caused by having invalid address information in ESC.

Resolution:

Determine which customers and techs are associated to the mapping calculation you are trying to run. Then check the following places for invalid addresses:

1. Company → System Setup → Company Information
2. Dispatch → Enter Technicians
3. Customer Info → Enter Customers

Correct the address(es) and rerun the mapping routine.
