There was an error with the Inventory Request. Error:Operation is not allowed when the object is closed.

Description of Error:

When attempting to provision the Laptop Mobile Client the following error is displayed:

There was an error with the Inventory Request. Error:Operation is not allowed when the object is closed.

Cause of Error:

This error is caused by having an apostrophe in a billing code in ESC.

Resolution:

1. In Electronic Service Control, go to the Sales menu and select Enter Billing Codes.
2. In the list of billing codes, you should see a code that has an apostrophe in it. Double-click on that code to edit it.
3. Remove the apostrophe from the Billing Code.
4. Click OK.
5. Now try to provision the Laptop Mobile Client again.
