How Do I Reset the Job Counter?

ESC allows you to track the costs of projects through the use of Job Costing.  When creating new Jobs in ESC, you'll have the option of letting ESC generate the next available Job Number, or creating a Name for the Job instead.  You have the ability to set and change the number this sequence will begin with by going to Customer Info → Set Job Counter.  

Enter the new beginning number and then click OK.  

**Never change this number to one previous than the current number.  This could cause ESC to recall previous records, rather than creating new ones and assigning an available ID.
