Business Number is Invalid Error With Canadian QuickBooks

Description of Error:

The following error occurs when trying to save an employee or when trying to synchronize employees through the QuickBooks Connection Wizard:

Error posting employee to QuickBooks: There was an error when saving an Employees list, element 'employee’s name'. QuickBooks error message: The Business Number is invalid.

Cause of Error:

An incomplete or incorrect social security number has been entered for that employee in ESC.

Resolution:

Correct or remove the social security number for that employee in ESC so that it can match or be added properly to QuickBooks. Then run the QuickBooks Connection Wizard to match or add that employee to QuickBooks.

This error only occurs when integrated with a Canadian version of QuickBooks
