Welcome to the Sage 50 Integration Guide. The following instructions will help you to integrate your Electronic Service Control database with your Sage 50 Accounting database. The integration process is fast and easy, and will cover everything from the initial setup process to your day-to-day procedures.
License Requirements
Electronic Service Control will require an ESC License Key that will enable the integration with Sage 50. If you are not sure if you have the Sage integration enabled within your Electronic Service Control database, go to Help → About in your current database. If "Peachtree Accounting" says 'Licensed', then you are good to go. If it does not, you can contact your dESCO Sales Representative at 1-800-226-7529 for a new License Key.
It is important to note that while your Electronic Service Control database is connected, Sage 50 will need to remain open and logged in with administrative permissions. This also means it will use one of your Sage 50 user licenses. If you have only one license for Sage 50, then you will need to install the ESC Accounting Server on the workstation that uses Sage 50 most frequently, or you will need to purchase an additional user license.
