"Either BOF or EOF is True..." When saving an inventory item or adjustment



When clicking Save on the Inventory Adjustment screen the following error appears:

Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted. Requested operation requires a current record.

One of the parts being adjusted is missing an Inventory or Cost account.


Go to the Company menu and select System Setup. In the System Accounts tab, make sure that the Cost account and Inventory account are filled in. Next, you'll need to make sure the accounts are filled in for the item itself.

Head to the Inventory menu and select Inventory Item List. Locate the part that caused the error and double-click on it to open that item in the Inventory Entry screen. Make sure the Inventory Account and Cost Account fields are filled in, then click Save.
