"Could Not Post Timeslip For Employee...This Feature Is Not Enabled..."

The following error occurs when your ESC database is integrated with QuickBooks and a user is attempting to Post Time to Payroll.

Could not post timeslip for employee '0004': This feature is not enabled or not available in this version of QuickBooks.

This indicates that Time Tracking is not turned on in QuickBooks.

Resolution

1.In QuickBooks, click Edit → Preferences → Time Tracking → Company Preferences.
2.Set Do You Track Time? to Yes.
3.For optimal integration with ESC, set the First Day of Work Week to Sunday. If this does not fit with your current payroll rules, leave this setting as is.
4.Click OK, then try posting again. It should work this time.
